Duran Duran private announced Jake Shears as their special customer for his or her upcoming tour.
The ‘Rio’ hitmakers are heading on the freeway for a string of reveals within the UK and Eire this spring and so they’ll be joined by the Scissor Sisters frontman.
In a statement, he said: “I’m overjoyed to negate that I’m going to be a Special Guest for Duran Duran on their ‘Future Past’ enviornment tour.
“It’s such an honour to be taking half in with them again. They are an enormous inspiration with their precise flee of fantastic tune.
“To teach that I’m furious is an underestimation. Belief you there!”
With Scissor Sisters, the ‘Take Your Mama’ singer joined Duran Duran on their ‘Reunion Tour’ in 2004, while bandmate Ana Matronic would later collaborate with them on 2010 album ‘All You Need Is Now’.
Duran Duran’s Roger Taylor commented: “We are fully elated to be reuniting with Jake Shears for our 2023 UK/Eire tour, as he supports his astonishing contemporary album ‘Closing Man Dancing’.
“The Scissor Sisters were such a extraordinarily famous segment of our Reunion Tour in 2004.
“We furthermore welcome the amazing Lia Lia from Berlin. The first time we heard ‘I’m A Moth!’ we were all fully crooked.
