Songs by Madonna and Mariah Carey had been added to the U.S. Nationwide Recording Registry.

On Wednesday, Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden presented that 25 recordings will likely be inducted into the institution, at the side of Madonna’s 1984 classic Treasure a Virgin, Mariah’s 1994 festive tune All I Desire for Christmas Is You, Queen Latifah’s 1989 video display All Hail the Queen, and Daddy Yankee’s 2004 crossover hit Gasolina.
