  1. Refreshing to see a head football coach that cares about his players and approaches the craft the right way. Would of loved to have played for this guy. Also, players and set up of school and vibe are where the story gets its heart. Beautiful stuff

  2. I live in Oakland. I feel their might have been better stories to talk about. Talking about kids who live in Stockton and Antioch are pointless. I would rather have people see people who live in the 60's 70's or 20's. I know that wasn't the safest call but I wish it was there more.
Also those kids were weak they showed.

  3. I been watching this its pretty cool But as an Aussie when you hear the players always arguing and the coaches all ways screaming im like they remind me of a bunch of women having a disagreement i dont understand if you team looses a play or is down point screaming is only going to put more pressure on players and brings negativity in a team as a whole those pirates i recon would have been a great team but they were not together and bonded properly as a team and only cared about there individual talent and not winning as a team Crazy game

  4. I guess knowing it was over they decided to seed this season with politics…one sided as usual. Worst season of the show. No Ollie or Dakota Allen or Bobby Bruce to connect with. The kids were all whining bitches except for the Samoan guy. The coach was an asshole as usual but with no redeeming qualities like the first few seasons. Trash season. John Breem does not have 3 Cadillacs or a beach house.

  5. As a public school teacher in the back country of Hawaii, this series on Laney touched home on every level. Grew up in the Bay area as a Pacific Islander back in the 90s, so the gritt and raw reality of these players made my heart hurt and swell with pride. Nu'u👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 fa'afetai lava for being that role model for the younger Poly players who will come after you (glad you learned not to plagiarize–I teach English🤓). Your aiga is beautiful. Ofa atu to your wife and baby girls🌺🤙🏽🌺 Poly Pride❤️❤️ All the best in Kentucky sole🤩

  6. This show is the funniest show ever. They were playing team showing how hype this game were and how hard there fighting all types of drama shit. It’s third Quarter and it’s 3 to 3 lol bruh

  8. This was my favorite season. Everything seemed so much more real. These guys literally had to either make it or end up homeless on the streets. I like how much of the show was about the city.

  9. 1. Netflix you are becoming trash cancelling all your actually good shows, but na lets keep goop they say.
    2. Love this show but it's a curse to whatever school they go to. Always from champs to chumps.

  10. Good season accept for the coaches wife saying she left San Diego because it was to white lol it’s ok to be racist as long as your racist against whites but hey that’s America now

  11. Only discovered this series three weeks ago and I got hooked. They're doing a serious disservice to everyone by not giving Laney a second season. This definitely was a more accurate portrayal of JUCO football and gave a better look at what it's like working through different types of adversity trying to try and better themselves as players and people. Imo, this was their best season and coach Beam was probably one of the best coaches they profiled. Give Laney that second season!
