  1. This is a terrible trailer but when I looked into it it didn't seem that bad. I might even buy disney+. Please don't dislike or say horrible things in the comments. I just want to watch something new and have some fun, then I look to the comment section and then I see everyone judging it when they haven't even seen the film. Don't hate someones hard work. 🙁

  2. You know when a movie is compared to the Percy Jackson ones that's probably not a good thing. But hey, it's not worse, so that's an accomplishment. Then again, they are re-making the series though sooooo
Let's hope it's good or it will be a double let down and the fans will riot lol

  3. On behalf of those who know nothing about the books, I want to formally apologize. I am sorry for all fans disappointed by this abomination in film. May its existence only urge more people to the book series like myself.

  4. I haven't read the books, (I didn't even know about the books until I watched this,) so granted I'm probably less upset about this than actual readers. Anyways on to my main point, The movie feels like a bad fanfiction. It didn't explain anything or the characters/the world, ex. Why does the fae live in a futuristic society? Another thing as well was that things were popping up left and right, and everything went by so quickly! I remember there was one scene where Artemis was being a smart-allick in his suit and glasses. After two seconds of him being all smug, the scene rushed to try and become emotional, mentioning the poor fathers who were barely explained in the movie. Overall I feel like if the script/direction were changed a bit, it wouldn't feel so off? A mini-movie series might have worked better.

Extra Note: I didn't like how a lot of characters weren't explained/mentioned. Opal was just a cliché villain with no background, The guy who served as a fairy officer's, (the one who was going to betray that 802-year-old fairy,) motives weren't explained, and lastly, the butler's daughter and the goblins practically had no importance, making it confusing as to why they were even in this movie.
